Welcome to Mrs. Chavez's Classes

• I teach three different classes; Biology Honors, AVID, and Advanced Placement Biology. Biology Honors is a semester long class that explores basic biology with inquiry based labs. AVID is a four year class that prepares students for a four year college or university. It teaches note taking strategies and study skills that are imperative for success in college. AP Biology is a college level course that incompasses all levels of biology and chemistry including biochemistry and physiology.
